Challenge

  • The top leader wanted his executive group to collaborate in new ways and have the group come together as a team. Leaders worked as islands and communicated in a way that effectively made the top leader the hub of all communication.

Intervention

  • We worked individually with all leaders on the executive team to establish clear roles, performance measurements, and an individual development plan. Over a period of 18 months, we facilitated regular team meetings that established shared goals and follow-up systems.

Results

  • The communication between individual leaders improved significantly as they more clearly understood their roles and worked together on shared goals. The increased collaboration and focus resulted in a double-digit increase in profitability.
