We assisted the company with both the development of a new sales process using a six sigma approach and the implementation of a new customer relationship management (CRM) solution. A customer service group in the Power Sports industry initiated a skunk works project to gather customer satisfaction data. After several years of data collection, we assisted the group with inquiry, analysis and strategy facilitation, which led to a clear understanding of the link between customer service, loyalty and future sales. With our help the group has learned that a 2.5% reduction of major problems experienced by customers will result in a 1% gain in customer satisfaction, which in turn will lead to $15 million additional future loyalty sales.
