Reinvent Sales Process with Triple Digit ROI A global air freight carrier must reinvent their sales process to stay competitive. We assisted the company with both the development of a new sales process using a six sigma approach and the implementation of a new customer relationship management (CRM) solution. The new sales strategy and process resulted in a shift to more profitable business categories, which, in turn, provided an astronomical return on investment for this project. Customer Relations Strategy Goes Into Action A major automotive distributor with a large dealer network has no coordinated customer relations strategy and associated processes and systems. We guided the development of a new customer relations strategy and provided change management for the implementation. Engagement involved bridging ten functional areas in three divisions and included process innovation, technology implementation oversight, risk management, and stakeholder alignment. The project also satisfied new mandates for reporting to government agencies (TREAD reporting for NHTSA). Business Planning Saves Big Headache A large investor and associated team have trouble bridging the business, creative, construction and financial aspects of non-profit project investments. We provided business planning and financial modeling to clarify program assumptions and establish all-inclusive investment and operational cost estimates for large non-profit entertainment and educational projects. Developed standards for metrics, benchmarks, and business model presentation. Our work was influential in both the green and red lighting of projects, uncovering significant revenue opportunities and cost liabilities as well as vision and program inconsistencies and potential. Innovative Production Planning Provided requirements definition and steering for the development of a state-of-the-art Production Planning System with order entry, production planning, shop floor control, material requirements planning, inventory, distribution, order estimation, and financial analysis systems application. This system resulted in significant production increase and received world-wide attention. Data Inquiry Drives $80 million in Loyalty Sales A customer service group in the Power Sports industry initiated a skunk works project to gather customer satisfaction data. After several years of data collection, we assisted the group with inquiry, analysis and strategy facilitation, which led to a clear understanding of the link between customer service, loyalty and future sales. With our help the group has learned that a 2.5% reduction of major problems experienced by customers will result in a 1% gain in customer satisfaction, which in turn will lead to $15 million additional future loyalty sales. This powerful fact now drives their strategy and action. The strategic actions related to the customer satisfaction program have resulted in more than $80 million additional loyalty sales. Intelligence for Private School Initiative Provided research, financial modeling, and strategic planning activities for well-funded private middle and high school initiative focused on arts and technology. Contemplated Museum Establishes Credibility A contemplated music and educational museum needs a comprehensive business plan to establish credibility with investor groups and provide a mechanism for coordination between the founders’ vision, funding campaign, building design, exhibit experience, marketing, financial projections and project milestones. We provided facilitation, research and analysis in developing a business plan. Strategic Planning Sparks Innovative Theater A large regional movie theater company looks for a new direction. We provided strategy facilitation which initiated the development of an innovative movie theater concept, setting a new standard for the industry and establishing a new business direction for the company. Process Innovation Enhances Quality A quality research group is perpetually behind in its work and seeks process innovation. We provided facilitation, analysis and coaching to build leadership and designed new processes as well as metrics. We instigated analysis to establish base cost of major customer problems which fundamentally altered the perspective of the group’s work. The group is now using a new process and criteria for investigations and is no longer behind in its work.
